I LOVE my speech room. It is bright, colorful, and definitely sparks joy! I have organized my room so that it looks clean and minimal but is filled with efficient grab and go materials. I was recently asked by a college freshman to complete a survey about my life as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). I realized how incredibly lucky I am to have a career as an SLP. I found my dream career right out of the gate. How many graduates can say the same? There are so many students entering university without a clue about what to do or where to start. It can be a daunting process. I can’t recommend a career as a Speech-Language Pathologist more! It is so rewarding and offers so much flexibility. Although most of our followers are already SLPs, I hope that sharing this survey might help an #SLP2BE out there.
