1. Akro Mills Storage Bin

Cycles in akro mills, amazon akro mills box, speechy musings cycles kit

I use my bin for the Cycles for Phonology Toolkit by Speech Musings. I cannot recommend the toolkit enough! I use it every single day for both articulation and phonology kiddos. My coworkers love to borrow cards as they are so well organized and easily accessible. The toolkit comes with all the cards as well as a cycles assessment and data tracking tool. I bought the Akro Mills Storage Bin from amazon a few years ago. At $38 the storage bin is definitely worth it. This bin could be used for anything! I have seen it used with small articulation trinkets and feeding/oral motor tools. I use the top of this bin for additional storage and stack my Bjorem Speech Sound Cues on it.

2. Photo & Craft Keeper

michaels photo keeper, organizational materials, speech therapy storage

I purchased this photo keeper during our Covid-19 lock down as I wasn’t working full time and I had time on my hands to laminate my speech and language task cards by Chloe Elizabeth, SLP. This photo keeper fits the cards perfectly. The photo keeper is currently $30 but it is ALWAYS on sale so definitely wait for a sale or use a coupon from Michael’s. The task cards are amazing and organized into Early sounds, Later sounds, Multisyllablic, Pronouns, Plurals, Same/different, WH questions, Vocabulary, Following Directions, Functions, Opposites, Figurative Language, Problem Solving, Verbs, Prepositions, and Conversation starters. Talk about an AMAZING product! The task cards are only $14 and includes print and Boom Learning. Now that my cards are nicely organized into the boxes I just grab the box that I need, wipe down, and return. So simple! If I were to keep one thing in my speech room it would be this box. It is a must-have for sure!

3. 10 Drawer Rolling Cart

10 drawer rolling cart, michaels rolling cart, organization, speech therapy materials

Another bright and colorful storage container. Are you starting to see a trend? This 10 Drawer Rolling Cart is great for categorizing your bigger materials. I have organized mine by articulation, reinforces, story elements, spelling, vocabulary, language (basic concepts), WH questions, verbs, and behavior support. I just use a simple label maker from amazon to label each drawer. If I need to reorganize my drawers I simply peel off the label and make a new one. I love that I can move this cart around my room if I need to. At $30 I think the cart is well worth it! Keep your eyes peeled for sales though!

4. Speech Tree Co. Mini Objects

Speech tree co, articulation materials, etsy speech therapy

I love using my mini objects in therapy! I purchased this kit fully assembled from SpeechTreeCo on Etsy. She has a few options for you; you can buy the whole thing already assembled in boxes or individually by sound. You can also just buy the trinkets without the boxes if you want to save a little money. To be honest, I loved that the whole set was available fully assembled in boxes. It saved me so much time! This set is a little bit pricey but it is SO much more fun than just using picture cards. It is a must-have for my articulation patients. I love hiding the trinkets in my room and having a treasure hunt for them.

We spend so much in our offices, shouldn’t they make us happy? If you purchase any of these products please let us know how they work for you. If you are a super organized SLP please share your favorite must haves and what you fill them with! Happy organizing!
